GENERAL HEALTH CHECKS

MAKE IT A REGULAR ROUTINE

GENERAL HEALTH CHECK UPS

At Westridge Medical our top priority as General Practitioners is too look after your general health and well-being. Our aim is to pick up on any major health problems before they occur. This is why it is important to see your GP for regular health checks even when you don’t have any specific health concerns. We can monitor for any changes through a thorough physical examination and investigation along with any tests needed.

Please note that if you are 45 and over, you may be eligible for a fully bulk billed general health check. Please check with reception upon booking if you are eligible. If you have any specific health concerns, it may be best to book a separate appointment for this.

Regardless of your fitness level, age or gender – regular health check ups are important for everyone. They could prevent a number of health problems from occurring which means you will live a healthier, longer, happier life.

Try to see the same doctor for your health check ups, so that you can build a trusted relationship with him or her. This also enables the Doctor to provide you with more comprehensive assessments at your check ups.

Below are the types of check ups to expect at varying ages.
